I was so blessed to have 3 working days off last week combined with the weekend to give me 5 days with Jamers!! We had a blast and made lots of memories with family and friends!
James has become Mr. Independent all the sudden. He doesn't like when Mama helps him brush his teeth, but he will do it himself for 10 minutes! {This Mama loves that he loves to brush his teeth!}
We started off Wednesday going to Grams'. We had a great time with our new toys at Grams' house. We went shopping for James and Mama got spoiled by Grams too! Our day was so busy Mama and James went home for a nap...and, of course, Grams went on another adventure! She's got more energy than anyone I know!
Matthew and I can't get over how grown up he looks here! He is looking more and more like Matthew everyday!
Wednesday after our nap James and Mama took a walk to the park and did some swinging. James loves the swing on our front porch; we often sit outside and watch the cars go by!
James is a kisser now!!! And Oh Boy does he give good kisses!!!! Wide open mouth full of saliva!! BEST KISSES I'VE EVER GOTTEN!!! Here he is practicing before heading to 4th of July festivities!
Friday we went to our friend Lisa's house and went swimming in a big pool for the first time! He loved it! So chilled and relaxed!! He even did a little splashing! We had a blast with Lisa, Abby, Ryan and Graham! Thank you Lisa for being so hospitable!
Saturday we helped Papaw & Cici with their impromptu garage sale and then checked out Uncle Josh's new apartment. We will miss him being at our house, but we are so excited for him to begin his new journey on his own and the great thing is he will only be 2 minutes away!!
James is in love with the vacuum and vacuuming!! He carried the vacuum hose all the way up the stairs and proceeded to put it in the bathtub...and this Mama actually caught it on video!! HILARIOUS!!
Sunday we went to church...where we had our first crying spell in the nursery. Lack of sleep and a little Mama clinginess going on that day! After church we went to Grandpa and Mimi's for some lunch and puppy love!! James loves the puppies!! He would chase them and when they turned toward him he would run away!!!
After 5 fun filled days with our little guy I am not ready to be back at work, but the good thing is every night I come home to my amazingly fun little family!!
